The main purpose of the battery thermal management system is to keep the battery pack always working within an appropriate temperature range to maintain the optimal working state of the battery pack. Its main functions are:
Monitoring: Accurately measure and monitor the temperature of the battery.
Heat Dissipation: Effectively dissipate heat when the battery temperature is high to prevent thermal runaway accidents.
Preheating: Preheat the battery when the temperature is low, raise the battery temperature, and ensure the charging and discharging performance and safety at low temperatures.
Temperature Equalization: Reduce the temperature difference within the battery pack, suppress the formation of local hot spots, prevent the battery at high - temperature positions from decaying too quickly, and improve the overall service life of the battery pack.
